Happy Birthday to my puppers Bentley!

My puppy isn't really a puppy anymore =( Happy Birthday to Bentley! He is 4 today. Can't believe it has been 4 years already. I know I'm probably sounding like a dork b/c he's a dog, but so far to date, he is our only child. Ricky got him for me when I was recovering from my broken jaw. He has been such a good dog, we couldn't have a better one. He is a lover, without a doubt. He always wants to be rubbed and absolutely has to be by Ricky and myself at all times. I can't complain. Oh and not to mention that he doesn't bark....what dog doesn't bark?? Our dog! Grandma brought over some treats for Bentley and momma got him a new collar with some bling and a birthday cookie. Life is good!

Made my day

This kind of stuff NEVER happens to me, but it did today and it totally made my day. I went into Chamberlains (local flower shop) to pick up some flowers for the kitchen and when I walked in I saw this sign! How fun??!! "Stop in today (I am), if you're name is Liz (it is) you'll receive a free flower (yippee!)" LOVES IT! Since it was close to St. Pats Day it was a green carnation, very festive.

My sister talked me into doing the "Shamrock Shuffle" this year in Madison. Sarah and I did the walk version of the run. At first I was a little hesitant to do it, but when she told me people dress up for it, I was totally in! They provided us with green t-shirts which everyone wore, so that was a must. I however spotted the perfect accessory for our outfits at Wal-Mart....green wigs! A bob and a long haired one, how fitting for Sarah and I. These ended up being a big hit at the walk/run. We got alot of comments on our hair. Dad even saw us on the news =) Leave it to Sarah and I to be on the news for something completely ridiculous.
